Wee Winkie Guest Cottage
 

If you have a larger group - perhaps 2 families that enjoy vacationing together - you may want to consider the option of the additional cottage on the property that can accommodate another 2 to 4 people.

For the months of May, June, September and October, Wee Winkie can be rented on its own. This is perfect for that fishing get-away in the quieter months. Please call for availability and details.

Skootaway, which enjoys a southern exposure, is just steps from the water and offers a 180 degree panoramic view of the lake which is magnificent.

The beach, which is a mixture of sand and huge flat rocks, has a shallow shoreline that is great for kids.

The two docks can accommodate four boats up to approximately 22'.

Skootaway has all the conveniences you could possibly need, including a  big 65" screen TV with satellite. Summer fun at this spot includes use of the paddle-boat, canoe, aluminum fishing boat and private boat ramp and docks.  If you have your own boat, be sure to bring it.  This lake is fantastic for water-skiing, tubing, touring and exploring.  There's lots of wildlife to see too, so don't forget your camera and binoculars! 

Skootamatta Lake is situated in the heart of the Land O' Lakes Tourist Region in Ontario, Canada. The towns of Cloyne and Northbrook are just minutes away. Skootamatta is one of the cleanest, most unspoiled lakes in the province. It is 8 miles long and has depths ranging up to 90 feet providing excellent fishing for small and large mouth bass, walleye and northern pike. In March 2003 and March 2005, Cottage Life magazine rated Skootamatta as one of the most sought after lakes in the Land O' Lakes area - and we know why!  Skootamatta will provide endless hours of superb swimming, boating and fishing.  If snowmobiling or four-wheeling is your passion, there are hundreds of miles of groomed seasonal trails waiting just for you. Other activities may include relaxing in the large outdoor Jacuzzi, sunbathing on the decks and beaches, hiking in the picturesque woods, or quietly canoeing through the secluded bays. Golf, tennis, artist studios, Bon Echo Provincial Park and shopping in nearby towns are all just a short drive away.
